awfultara is a self-proclaimed math geek with an unhealthy obsession for cute handbags.
Originially from NJ, Tara now lives in lovely Northampton, MA, with her boyfriend, cat, and piles of fabric.
After spending far too much money on cute handbags, Tara decided to try her hand at making some herself. Turned out, it wasn't all that hard, and shortly after, Tara had more bags than she could handle.
Tara wanted to sell some of her creations online, and Plain Mabel was born. But she just didn't have enough stuff, so she decided to sell some other artists' stuff as well. And that's where awfulkrissy came in.
Tara began selling Krissy's biggerCritters at Plain Mabel, and the two began IMing each other often since neither one of them ever seems to leave their homes. About 80 billion IMs later, Awful Cufflinks went from a silly brainstorm to, well, what you see there. |
